In 1908 «Lyrophon» company introduced new label «Gloria». These records are currently great rarities. They should not be confused with more common electrically recorded «Gloria» records that were re-introduced by Carl Lindström in 1930.

Following is the quote from the German collector's magazine "Fox auf 78": “in late 1929, when the German recording industry fell into a major crisis, Lindström and the Deutsche Grammophon decided to form a joint venture to issue a low-cost disk label. This label was called Gloria, and the first disks were issued in 1930 by Grammophon and Lindström, using a very confusing system of cooperation - both companies offered the same titles
