Following is the quote from the German collector's magazine "Fox auf 78": “in late 1929, when the German recording industry fell into a major crisis, Lindström and the Deutsche Grammophon decided to form a joint venture to issue a low-cost disk label. This label was called Gloria, and the first disks were issued in 1930 by Grammophon and Lindström, using a very confusing system of cooperation - both companies offered the same titles and used the same catalogue numbers and artist pseudonyms, but different recordings. So if you find two 1930 Gloria records with the same title, artist name and number, they may contain different recordings by different bands and singers if one was made by Grammophon and the other one by Lindström. Obviously, this system did not work, and one year later the joint venture was given up. The Gloria label was kept by Lindström; they used it as a replacement for Beka.”
