Why that would be, I cannot say, but that’s how it is.
Notice the steady, regular swish…swish… of the record revolutions, obvious from the start.
These form a recognizable pattern in the digital soundwave. They occur every .69 seconds. 60/.69 => 86.95/minute.
However, I’m reasonably sure that the correct speed is 80rpm (not 78), or something fractionally close to that.
