What a ridiculous arrangement and re-orchestration!! (Vindogradov's grotesquely effeminate crooning doesn't help either - was the helium level in the Moscow atmosphere abnormally high in 1945, or had he had an accident to his testicles in his youth?)

I wasn't aware that such monstrosities were produced in the SSSR - certainly a match for the nauseatingly kitschy German operetta films with Nazi idol Jopie Heesters or, a generation later, the slimy Viennese Peter Alexander! No wonder that such a great part of the post-WW2 generations disliked operetta and preferred the American imports... I give 10 points for collectable value as a major example of inredeemably bad taste!

Operetta is a kind of music with the highest percentage of bad taste recordings.
