I am astonished that the ’category’ has been given here as ’piano, violin and cello trio’ -- that information is not on the label, and presumably comes from the listings of Alan Kelly (which I have recently queried on this very point).
The trio here is very obviously a set of plucked instruments, as ’banduristov’ clearly suggests: so, three banduras.
At least I now have audible proof that this (and similar recordings of this group) cannot be by N.T.Manasevich, Y.Y.Butkovsky, and P.P.Gross -- unless of course these three musicians were ’moonlighting, for fun and profit’
And so we must revise Kelly’s listings. John Milmo is currently in charge of those, and I have now given him this evidence.
