Фильм назывался "День нового мира", а "One day in Soviet Russia" -- название в американском прокате.

Not Alymov non aturov
The words were written by Perfyonov. (that’s for sure).
Aturov just brougt the song to Alexandrov in 1929. Songs to this meloty were written from 1914 to 1919 in different places of Russia (Moscow, Siberya and Ukraina). It is illogical that Aturov composed it, tough there is no evidence to such a sonf before 1914.

Thanks, but...
Do you have any documentary to support your statement?

P.S. I believe you just made a typo in word "Russia" when wrote it entirely in low case, so I have corrected it right in your message.

Спасибо! Я поменяю автора слов, но мне кажется, что нужно оставить и имя Алымова, потому что согласно написанному в книге он внёс существенные изменения в текст, написанный Парфёновым.

more uses of this misic
This melody got it’s fame after Hirsch Glick wrote to it ’Jewish Partisans Song’ (Yiddish, Vilnyus ghetto, 1943). His song was translated into many languages. (Even Paul Robeson performed it in his Moscow concert). After the war, learning about Hirsch’s song, Dmitry Pokrass confessed that his melody was based on the Yiddish song ’Oifn Pripechok’.
Another use of this melody was made by Georgiy Dveynikov, Alexandr Xodozhnikov and Sergey Tsenin. They used this melody, together with ’Stenka Razin’ and ’Shiroka Strana Moya Rodnaya’, for their song, praising yhe Pappanin’s expedition to the Pole.
